Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Floyd, a service of Smith Holdings LLC ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use MeetFloyd.com and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, name (if provided via Google Sign-In).
  • App Store Connect API credentials: issuer ID, key ID, and the contents of the .p8 private key you supply so Floyd can read and write your App Store listings on your behalf. The private key is encrypted at rest in AWS Secrets Manager (AES-256), is never returned to the browser after upload, and is used only to mint short-lived JWTs for App Store Connect API requests. You can disconnect at any time from Settings → App Store Connect, which deletes the stored secret.
  • App metadata: app names, descriptions, screenshots, and keywords you submit for audit.
  • Generated assets: screenshots, marketing copy, and keyword recommendations Floyd produces.
  • Chat transcripts with Floyd: the messages you send to Floyd's in-app AI assistant and Floyd's replies are persisted in our database, scoped to your account and the app/audit you were working on. We use them to (a) restore your conversation when you return to the app and (b) give Floyd memory of decisions you made in earlier turns. Each turn is also sent to Anthropic for processing — see the third-party section below.
  • Usage data: page views, feature interactions, and audit history.
  • Billing information: handled by RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.

Phone numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers collected for SMS with any third party for that party's own marketing, advertising, or any other purpose. We do not send marketing SMS, do not purchase phone numbers from list brokers, and do not import phone numbers from outside sources. The only third party that receives a phone number from us is the SMS provider that delivers the message you opted in to receive (Twilio) — and only at the moment a message you consented to is sent.

You can opt out of any individual SMS category at any time by replying STOP to any Floyd SMS, or email support@meetfloyd.com to have a stored number removed.

How we use your information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate app audits, keyword analysis, and marketing assets.
  • Once direct App Store publishing launches (in active development, not yet live), push approved changes to your App Store Connect listings at your direction.
  • Send transactional emails (welcome, audit completion, billing).
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues.

Third-party services

We use the following third parties to operate the Service:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): hosting, storage, authentication (Cognito).
  • Anthropic Claude: AI analysis, copywriting, and the in-app chat assistant. App content, your screenshots, and your chat messages are sent to Anthropic for processing under their commercial terms, which prohibit training on customer data by default.
  • Apple iTunes Search API: public keyword and app metadata lookups.
  • Apple App Store Connect: reading your listing data via your API credentials today; uploading screenshots and metadata on your behalf is in active development and not yet live.
  • RevenueCat: one-time payment processing for the $5 per-set purchase (no subscriptions).
  • Google OAuth: optional sign-in method.
  • Twilio: SMS delivery for the verification code and the alert categories you opt into. Phone numbers are sent to Twilio only when an opted-in message is being delivered, under Twilio's standard processing terms.

Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog to capture anonymized product usage (page views, feature interactions) and unhandled errors. These analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner on first visit. Declining blocks all analytics cookies; you can clear your browser storage at any time to re-prompt.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Audit results and chat transcripts are retained indefinitely unless you delete them. App Store Connect credentials are retained until you disconnect them or delete your account. When you delete your account, active records are removed immediately; encrypted backups may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before they expire.

Your rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time. To permanently delete your account and all associated data (saved apps, audit runs, screenshots, and credentials), sign in and go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You can also email support@meetfloyd.comfor assistance.

Security

We encrypt sensitive credentials at rest and in transit. No security measure is perfect — if you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Children

Floyd is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice.
