What is App Store Optimization (ASO)?

App Store Optimization is the process of improving how an iOS app ranks and converts on the App Store. It covers keyword targeting in the title, subtitle, and keyword field, screenshot messaging and visual hierarchy, description copy, and conversion signals like ratings and reviews. Better ASO means more downloads from the same impressions.

What does Floyd do today?

Floyd turns your raw app screen captures into production-ready App Store screenshots. Its AI Director reads your live listing, picks a headline, color palette, and background for every frame, and composites a full set sized for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. How does Floyd design my screenshots?

Floyd's AI Director analyzes your App Store listing — category, positioning, and existing screens — then chooses the messaging, palette, and layout for each frame and composites them automatically. Don't like a set? Regenerate it until it's right.

What does Floyd cost?

Generating and previewing a screenshot set is free. Downloading a set is a flat $5 — one price covering iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. No subscription, no auto-renew. Your first set is free.

Can Floyd audit my listing, score keywords, or push to App Store Connect?

Not yet. Screenshot generation is live today. Listing audits with an A–F grade, keyword popularity and winnability scoring, and one-click publishing to App Store Connect are in active development and coming soon.

Does Floyd work for Google Play?

Floyd currently generates App Store (iOS) screenshots only. Google Play support is on the roadmap.

Terms of Service

Welcome to Floyd, a service of Smith Holdings LLC. By using MeetFloyd.com or related services (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

The Service

Floyd is an AI-powered App Store Optimization (ASO) tool. Today, Floyd generates production-ready App Store screenshots from the screenshots and listing data you provide. Listing audits, keyword tools, and pushing approved changes to the App Store via your App Store Connect API credentials are in active development and coming soon.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized access.

Your content

You retain ownership of the app metadata, screenshots, and content you submit. You grant Floyd a limited license to process your content to provide the Service, including sending it to our AI providers (Anthropic). Generated outputs (screenshots, copy, keywords) are yours to use, modify, or publish freely.

Pushing to the App Store

Direct publishing to the App Store is in active development and not yet part of the live Service. When it launches, connecting your App Store Connect API credentials will let Floyd upload screenshots and metadata to your listing at your direction. You will remain solely responsible for what gets published to your app listing, and will be able to review all changes before approving them. We'll update this section when the feature goes live.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Floyd for apps you don't own or aren't authorized to modify.
Submit illegal, infringing, or harmful content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
Use the Service to violate Apple's or Google's platform policies.

Payments and refunds

Floyd is priced as a one-time purchase: $5 per screenshot set, with your first set free. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically — you're only charged when you choose to purchase a set. Payments are processed through RevenueCat's web checkout. Because this is a one-time purchase rather than an app-store subscription, there's no app-store refund flow to point you to — for a billing issue or refund request, email support@meetfloyd.com.

Service availability

We work hard to keep Floyd available but we don't guarantee uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to issues with third-party providers (AWS, Anthropic, Apple).

Disclaimer of warranties

Floyd is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that app audits or generated content will improve your app's ranking, downloads, or revenue.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Floyd's liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time by emailing support.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
